     OLDGEEZER MEMORIAL AWARD

 I know that the last three days have been very sad
ones for us.  As individuals and as a group we have
lost a friend who was not only witty but also caring,
a combination not universally found.

 It is time now that we move beyond our grief and
chuckle inwardly at something that Geez said to us
or to someone else or feel warm about some compliment
he gave us or help he offered.

 So that his name will be among us and so that newbies
may stop and ask, "Who was he?" allowing us to pon-
tificate to these upstarts about the giants that once
roamed the land  :)  starting 27 August 1995 when it is 
given again the $10 prize and pen that is awarded to the
winner of the Masters Division will be known as the:



          OLDGEEZER MEMORIAL AWARD
