GOLDEN OLDIES LYRICS QUIZ #79 (GOLQ79)
Hi Oldies Fans,
Unlike my last 15 quizzes, this quiz will have neither a main thread nor
several mini-themes, but it will be replete with "mini-mini-themes;" each
song in the quiz, with the exception of the 2nd tie-breaker, is connected in
some way to 1 (or 2) other song(s). How many connections can you find???
I've devised 16 of them.
After the 25 regular songs, there will be 2 tie-breakers. These 2 songs
will not be in the alphabetical mix with the other 25 but will be alphabetized
with respect to one another. What these 2 songs have in common is that they
do not fit the eligibility requirements for inclusion in the regular part of
the quiz: either they were released prior to 1955 or else they were released
between 1955 & 1969 but did not hit the Top 100 on the Pop charts for my
specific artist.
