Germany, 30 Jan 1848, immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1858, d. Davenport(Scott)IA, 
24 Dec 1930, son of Johann Hinrich and Magdalena(Rusch)Helkenn.  Katherine and 
John farmed at Eldridge(Scott)IA and upon retirement in 1918 moved into Davenport.
Neither had been naturalized by 1920.
